At this year’s t2’11 infosec hybrid competence center, Juha-Antero Puistola, Head Lecturer from the Department of Strategic and Defense Studies at the Finnish National Defense University set the tone with his broad analysis of terrorism and counter-terrorism from the perspective of information security. Information security is a hot topic these days as many countries are trying to write policies and suggest ways of living to their populations that will safeguard them against impending hybrid attack. Despite all that’s being done, though, much uncertainty exists as references to traditional physical borders and analyses of countries as stand-alone sovereign nations no longer apply. Some attendees and speakers were interviewed for their opinions on information security by the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE).
